The Saltwater Brig is a country style pub and restaurant nestled on the shores of Strangford Lough.
Easily found by taking the main A20 Portaferry road from Newtownards through Kircubbin towards Portaferry. Approx 2 miles from Kircubbin, heading south, you will find the pub on the right-hand side of the road complete with ample car parking available opposite.
Popular local attractions include Mount Stewart house, Kirkistown racing circuit, Kirkistown castle golf club & Exploris aquarium.
Established circa 1765, with us at the helm since 2005, the Brig has been providing good food and craic in the area ever since.
Our team of experienced chefs provide top quality locally sourced dishes daily which you can enjoy in the cosy “snug”, the main bar or indeed the relaxing beer garden with its wonderful views over the Lough.
We have been recognised by our peers as being one of the Top 100 hospitality businesses in the North of Ireland for the last number of years however we continue to strive to improve.
